LEAF TYPE:

The leaves are dark green in colour, juicy and fleshy. It contains thorns at the edges.  

SEASONS:

Solanum trilobatum, also known as Thuthuvalai, can be sown all year round, and can tolerate temperatures as low as 5°C. It grows well in moderate climates and well-drained loamy soil, but can also thrive in medium fertility land. 

PLANT TYPE:

Solanum trilobatum is a tropical perennial plant with spiny stems, five-lobed leaves, and small white or purple flowers. The fruit is a small, red berry that hangs down from a long stalk.

TRADITIONAL VALUES:

Solanum trilobatum plant have been used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of ailments, including respiratory issues, digestive disorders, liver ailments, and skin conditions.

STORAGE INSTRUCTION:

          Store in an airtight jar, in a cool and dry place and away from direct sunlight.
