PLANT TYPE:

This is a hairy herb that's native to tropical regions of the Americas and is commonly found in open grasslands, roadsides, and pathways.

SEASONS:
Blooms throughout the year but more profusely during the warm seasons. The plant thrives in a tropical climate with ample sunlight. It can grow in various types of soil.

PLANT NATURE:

This pant is erect to prostrate growing 1-2 feet tall with a similar spread. It tolerates full sun to full shade. It tolerates most growing conditions including poor soils and locations. The stems contain a milky sap that may cause contact dermatitis.

TRADITIONAL VALUES:

Amman pacharisi is a medicinal herb, and all parts of the plant can be used for medicinal purposes. However, the latex of the plant is poisonous and can damage the skin or other parts of the body.
