PLANT NATURE:

Moringa oleifera is also known as the miracle tree. It is native to the tropical and subtropical regions of South Asia and is also grown in other parts of the world. The tree is fast-growing and drought-resistant. Moringa oleifera is also known as the "tree of life" or "miracle tree". It's considered an important herbal plant with many medicinal and non-medicinal benefits. 

SEASONS:

Moringa is a small tree which has mainly two seasons. Moringa flowers bloom most heavily in late fall to early winter and again in late spring to early summer. Now, it is cultivated as regular crop and repeatedly blooms throughout the year. The peak harvest time for moringa is March–August.  

PLANT TYPE:

The tree has a soft trunk, gummy bark, and an open crown of drooping branches. The leaves are tripinnate and feathery. The tree can grow to a height of 10–12 meters and a trunk diameter of 46 centimeters. The tree can grow in humid tropics and hot, dry lands, and can tolerate a range of rainfall from 250–3000 mm and a pH of 5–9. It can also adapt to various soil types. The tree originated in India and is now widely planted in Asia, Africa, and tropical and subtropical regions of Central America. 

TRADITIONAL VALUES:

The tree has many uses, including food, medicine, agriculture, and industry. The leaves, flowers, gums, roots, and seeds are all edible and contain vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. The oil from the seeds has industrial applications in the perfume, paint, and lubricant industries. The oil cake from the seeds can be used to purify drinking water. Moringa is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, and vitamin E, as well as minerals like calcium and iron. It also contains many flavonoids, glucosinolates, terpenes, alkaloids, saponins, sterols, fatty acids, and phenolic compounds

STORAGE INSTRUCTION:

Store in an airtight jar, in a warm and dry place and away from direct sunlight.
